About Us
Employ-Ability is a charity promoting access to employment for disabled and disadvantaged people, including those with mental health conditions. We work in partnership with employers, and the statutory and voluntary sectors, to provide a high quality service offering job search and job retention support.
We aim to deliver a service that is:
- Based on client needs and preferences, and delivered on a one to one support by a skilled and specialist employment advisor.
- That is responsive and seeks feedback to help in maintaining an effective service.
- Keen to support employers in understanding why and how to recruit and retain clients of our service.
When we describe our job seekers as 'disabled and disadvantaged' we mean that they are people who are experiencing the loss or limitation of opportunities to take part in the main stream of the community on an equal level with others due to physical or social barriers.
