About Us
Employ-Ability
is a charity promoting access to employment for disabled and
disadvantaged people. We work in partnership with employers
and the local statutory and voluntary sectors to source well
matched, paid, meaningful employment for our job seekers.
We
aim to
- Ensure all job-seekers have access to one to one support from a skilled and specialist employment advisor.
- Involve job seekers in their own development and decisions.
- Assist employers to gain access to the pool of disadvantaged and disabled people in the locality.
When we describe our job seekers as 'disabled and disadvantaged' we mean that they are people who are experiencing the loss or limitation of opportunities to take part in the main stream of the community on an equal level with others due to physical or social barriers.
